Slowly

Slowly

The time always slips away,
I frantically search and pray.

Demanding answers,
that don’t need to be,
Thinking they’re the solution,
to all of me.

I have the time to wait and rest,
Sometimes prolonging is the best.

Sitting quietly, with my hope,
Calming my mind,
instead of being a frayed rope.
