Eyes Hold Universes
stained eyes with crimson glow,
longing journey, left unknown,
midnight passing – vapored, obscure
lingering time tucked between a Star,
and Universes unseen, I speak;
you spoke, we dwell in now,
focused on the past,
lost in tomorrow –
our days drift through pangs,
ripples invisibly leading our way,
bouncing, pinging, vibrations flare,
explosions of suns vanished –
recreated on the canvas of our make-believe Sky,
we call out to Love, Life, Dreams,
while waiting for certainty and comfort,
walking as shadows, questioning existence,
we survive here, wondering of the realities,
striving for the day of fantasies,
they; those who hide in the stains of eyes,
blaring colored visuals hidden in the Soul’s of others
Oh this is Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it ❤
Blessings for a Sweet Today and Harmonious Tomorrow ~
Thank you Morgan!! Sending blessings back to you! 🙂
For some reason this poem makes me visualize a stained glass window at a church. The glow as light catches it and mystical element force one to look at the sky line and wonder of our place in the universe. Which matches perfectly to the subject of the poem. Very much about visual perception.
louiville, that is a marvelous visual! I enjoyed being captured in your imaginations with this. It really expresses the feelings that I wrote into this poem. Thank you so much for sharing!
