Delusional Day Dream

When Adult Games Conquer by Neil DeYoung

When Adult Games Conquer by Neil DeYoung

delectable fragrance blooms, delicate petals glide,
dainty lips linger their prisms down goose bump drenched flesh,
delicious tastebuds roll over delightful creases —
dancing into devouring thoughts, distantly musing;
dangling tangling prose — dangerously hidden away,
delirious labyrinths unfurl, whirling ecstasy;
daubs luring their dubious tune to awaken a dream.
devious! that illusion, (delusion) deepening its grasp,
doubtful it ever had pure motives, clutching to a divided heart —
deathly afraid of devotion, devastating daggers burst wide open,
daylight deploring such whimsy, dedication deserves mutual adoration;
deprivation, a disastrous foundation for a yearning soul,
depending upon a caricature in one’s own mind,
desperate to obtain any sort of affection, piteous denial.
deranged colorations fuse chromatic wants,
delusions alive in day dreams, dampening realties,
distilling distasteful meanderings too treacherous to accept,
damning all questionable unwants!
deteriorating actualities into believable fantasies,
determined to reach desired destination,
despicably thrust out of slumber, gazing at an empty chair.
