Moon Dance

Visiting some old poems … this one is from August 2012. Wishing you all a wonderful week to come! ~ Angel(ique)

Moon Dance

Once I whispered across your lips –
gently stroked my words into you,
sucked your breath into mine,
we sailed into tranquility.

Weaving in and out of thoughts,
magnetic eyes pulled through me –
ocean waves thrust out of limbs,
a moon dance; you and I.

Once we warmed through the night –
my blanket in the deep,
stealth secrets in our palms,
electric fingers jolted into trance –
flung within delicacy.

Twirling we whirled upon the songs,
sang in silent glance,
a kiss upon my lips,
forever a trail –
illuminating pause,
a moon dance; you and I.
