Dance Of The Universe Painting by Miki De Goodaboom

Reiteration

glass slipper; left shards,
slivered through,
wrinkles of her dainty foot,
suctioned to the heel,
squish, squish
splatter, splatter
droplets coat broken stairs –

moon shine,
liquid ether,
swallowed a fragile bod,
hobbled to her destination,
shaky fingers reached into a hollowed chest –
as it was yesterday, then and then, time ago(es)

seeking something lost,
decades before – stolen; then,
left by the light of stars,
steaming cracks in concrete,
all waved her good-bye
as the clock<watch>tower struck; midnight,
again, and again, and again, again

glass coated eyes,
pursued intent,
fell into found –
reflection echoed;
floated on ripples;
the black stark sky,

a broken-hearted damsel,
found rest while, gobbled
into the depths of the Universe –
{universal dance}
satiated with what had been sought,
emulating faceted colors,
brokenness meshed with wholeness
again, and again, and again, again
