molten heart spread forth as lava,
passions raged bubbling brooks,
a queasy heart of unbelief –
tricked into BELIEVING!

furrows of a lofty soul,
seeking Love; shallow bones,
empty veins, nothing to give –
only take, what to BELIEVE?

paroxysm! fooled to be true,
of love and lust?
memories loosed from fingerprints burn,
etched skulls upon lips, drift;
slowly through mellowed brooks

Healing begins its journey,
freedom on the coals of FEEL
a zealous heart finds affections,
along side the comforts of REAL

I have been terribly busy and not able to read as much as I normally can. I feel lost when I cannot visit and let my mind wander through the words of others … I guess we all have seasons – I will embrace mine. Sharing at dVerse Open Link Night ! I do hope I get to do some reading and ‘liking” this evening or tomorrow … hopefully, comment!

  3. This is a really great piece. Enhanced that much more by the picture that accompanies it. 🙂

    I like the appearance of this– the forward “impression” lines followed by the falling “discretion” lines. A thought-provoking piece, for sure.
