Holiday Cheer

flush of a feather,
still breeze,
cooled by a heated icicle –
tears flow

melancholy sidewalk,
stomped on by ignorant feet,
concrete paved a looking glass,
from sky to earth

lonely and not
ice-like flesh flaked,
as snow,
hearts coated in bandages

lit up holidays lights,
they ate their fresh meat and pies,
as lonesome ones could no longer feel thier bones,
so many caroling to cheer themselves up;
noticing them all on this fine time of year –

in the meantime, about 300 or more days
lurked, crept, crinkled upon frozen lonely’s,
who played their peace pipes
wishing invisible’s a merry whatnot
