Lingering Loss

Lingering Loss

subtleties of silence,

loud proclamation –

eyes, in dis’rest

solitary quakes unsettled bones,

fingers tremble in search of warmth;

methodically embracing cloaks of others,

riding on trail’ess whispers

staring into lonely hands,

the grip of wanting,

fingerprints missing their puzzle piece –

lost in a loveless abyss,

entrails release blackened sorrows;

dancing in spectrals, gliding on stars –

capturing dust to mend a broken heart

OpenLinkNight  at dVerse hosted by Brian! Loved what he had to share on dVerse go have a read if you haven’t already.

On another note, please forgive me if I do not make my rounds or I am only clicking “like” or sharing your poems – we are getting ready to move at the end of the month and I have a lot to do. I will try to keep up and hopefully be able to keep writing because it helps so much with my anxiety and stress. However, I am not sure how the month will go …

    • Thank you Zoe! I have a plan to make sure I do not get too overwhelmed or tired – I hope that helps me. I tend to get in anxious frenzies and try to do everything all at once. I am trying not to do that this time. 🙂
