Frigid Memories

Frigid Memories

sunken eye sockets,

bloom frozen buds; winter’s  stare

dredging frigid past,

memories melted in snow –

capped hearts, waiting for rebirth

Yay! I was able to share one with my fellow dVerse folks – OpenLinkNight ~ Grace is hosting, though she is sharing about Autumn my mind seems to be preparing for winter.

I do have a fondness for Autumn, but quite honestly it hosts a ton of sad memories for me and can lead me into depressive thoughts. The beauty that fills the Autumn months – colors, air, winds. sky, clouds, Moon – all of the loveliness that it spreads throughout keeps my hope afloat. Happy Fall Season!
