Autumn’s Kiss

Autumn’s Kiss

gentle wisp, across my lips,
smoke-filled whisk, lingering;
slender trace streak my face –
a kiss from Autumn’s breath

a brush’ful taste; Fall’s embrace,
lapping at my flesh,
leaf-doused tips –
tickle on my eyelids

stroking reds, wrap hair
trembling in a breeze,
yellows dance upon my palms,
orange caresses form

charm-fused reap; Harvest’s call,
fills glowing eyes,
warmth gloved; a downcast soul,
soothed in Autumn’s kiss
