Do You Know?

Do You Know?

can you?
cradle this frame –
surround it in knowing colors,
the smell of knowing,
resemblance of tasting;
<a long time ago, decade or more>

could this Be’ing(?)
[silhouette] a wavering existence;
ever be known?

tear apart dripping acrylics,
oozing oils from my pores
let the tear tracks plunge –
these flames upon my cheeks

stare, into these brown eyes,
paint me onto a canvas, finally;
to LIVE!
spiral my quivering lips into an inferno,
with a found feather –
lost on the winds,
where God himself floats missing balloons,
and plastic bags

THEN, write me a song,
of how you wish i existed –
tune your guitar with my strings,
strum me ALIVE –
as you once, had
tell me you know

you KNOW!
my lips,
my skin,
my tiny blonde hairs on my lower back –
kissed by the sun,
where i begin,
and where i end?
my sighs in the dark,
and my most breakable heart(?)
is it known?

It’s Open Link Night 113 at the dVerse Poets Pub hosted by Tony Maude.

Tonight I am also, musically inspired … I feel like painting, but I have not painted in months and I have been too busy to pull out all of my paints and such. I felt that I had no words, however, I listened to this song and these words came out.

    • Thank you Brian! I was in a roaring mood for some reason it felt good. hee hee Music is alive to me when I watch musicians their instruments seem to have their own personality and existence.

    THEN, write me a song,
    of how you wish i existed… that whole stanza esp… writing someone into a song is such an highly intimate thing..the being known..

    • The thought of forever being written into a song I find grand. Ha! I said grand. I’m bringing that word back. lol Yes, very intimate indeed much like writing someone into poetry … I suppose poetry is music of words.

  4. I enjoyed this, I imagine it could be a song – one I would like to hear. Your site is great looking.
