Confrontation
flames drizzle cold wells,
searing frozen clusters;
into the delicate shell –
standing still
lingering through flames of blue,
walking into invisible labyrinths;
the arms of wisdom,
wait for icebergs to melt,
to catch frozen time,
leering in the breath –
escaping words that must be spoken;
ice crystals shatter,
shards glaciering frigid stares;
freezer burn, stings;
a raging fire blasts,
frost over the terminus fate
only one is left standing
“lingering through flames of blue,
walking into invisible labyrinths;”
Wow… What a great use of wording…
Thank you Steelmaster! Those were a visuals racing through my mind, I am glad they came out they way I envisioned. 🙂
that sure gets the point across! splendfabulistic!
Indeed, BTM! Another grandtacularistic word! Lol!
lol!
LOVE this! I have been thinking and feeling in dichotomies for the past year or so. Almost everything seems like your poem to me.
I am so glad you liked Natalia! I like playing with dichotomies. My world always seems to be one constant dichotomy! 🙂
