Confrontation

Confrontation

flames drizzle cold wells,
searing frozen clusters;
into the delicate shell –
standing still
lingering through flames of blue,
walking into invisible labyrinths;
the arms of wisdom,
wait for icebergs to melt,
to catch frozen time,
leering in the breath –
escaping words that must be spoken;
ice crystals shatter,
shards glaciering frigid stares;
freezer burn, stings;
a raging fire blasts,
frost over the terminus fate
only one is left standing

    Wow… What a great use of wording…

  2. that sure gets the point across! splendfabulistic!

  3. LOVE this! I have been thinking and feeling in dichotomies for the past year or so. Almost everything seems like your poem to me.
