Disengage
frisk’ess breath of cosmic winds,
blew asteroid kisses into my chest –
burst out atomic flames;
from the Sun’s melancholy being
{sparsely, concealed within my cavity}
I reached my thoughts across the moon,
while Saturn beckoned my hands,
we dabbled in an intriguing waltz –
springing upon its spokes;
{we were quite the seasonal phenomenon}
silence of echoing vibrations,
pulled into a dream –
a quantum leap of quizzical meandering;
pervasive thoughts, helical lucidity;
informed my soul as Jupiter’s moons
looked kindly at me,
Adrastea; said, “Do not fear!”
{while we leaped into song}
breathless, gasp’ess too,
I unfurled into a colossal cataclysm;
celestial bodies permeated on my blackish form,
twisted, and pounded by meteorites;
I emphatically embraced my demise!
{becoming quite the beauty; in my Supernova disguise}
… That last line sounds very dangerous … But the thought of transformation into a sigularity sounds exciting …
Indeed, Bert! Dangerous and exciting … quite frightening and enticing. Lol!
I found it very interesting that you could make a super nova actually sound provocative.

Thank you BTM! It does have a a lot of that emotion mixed into this poem. It felt like I was peeling into something new. 🙂
