Temptations Of A Muse I

Temptations Of A Muse I

what does a poet do,
when he falls in love with his Muse,
pouring out entrapped yearnings in each breath?

tasty,tempting delights –
she dances upon his lips,
as astral waves pass by,
gleaming comets touch into his eyes

how does he resist,
the sensual lingering kiss,
far, sweeter than flares of Northern Lights?

seductive,prowling Muse,
slipping thoughts,visuals
love-luster whirls tingling his flesh,
her soft caress, awakens what was lost

why would he let go,
a masterfully,glowing show
her cryptic ways floating through air –
enticing even the likes of Gilgamesh(?)

It’s a good metephorical question why would they, I don’t believe they would unless the passion died an then would they have truly a muse or an amusement?

Never fall in love with your muse. A muse can escape and leave a desperate writer or Poet. I like the thoughts in the poem.
