Beckoning Of A Quasar

Beckoning Of A Quasarย

my delight, my delight pours,
it shutters, and swells,
it drifts, lingers, swims, and wails,
straight into the vortex of you

my passions, my passions roar into flames,
fires I hide, squelch my blaze,
and I yearn, I crave, I languish –
you, my tourbillion,
suck me into an empty space
leave me; set on spin

my adorations, my adorations,
ticks, ticks, and tocks
swirling, mechanical clicks –
with no intentions to stop
they ripple and whirl,
systematically, the hands they move
on my stoic; symmetrical face

my body, my body aches,
a statue standing in place,
it waits, longs, implores,
anguishly; calling your name,
staring into a black hole,
nowhere for the words to go,
ubiquitous echoes in my ears,
torments raging my skull,
love whimpering, “NO!”
sucked into infinitude

my mind, my mind it twirls,
it screams, it crawls,
reaching for your voice,
I stand in the middle of time,
a maelstrom of nothing and everything,
plummeting my soul,
crashing against my core,
singeing through my flesh,
waiting to become numb,
beckoning the sound of something,
I can never let go

my spirit, my spirit faints,
starved, thirsty, shriveled –
no life, oxygen siphoned from its breath,
colliding with angel’s wings,
and darkish things,
while my delight, and passions,
are swallowed into a moth’s flight,
for others who love at midnight,
my adorations and body sink,
deep into a coma of fake,
and my mind and spirit sing,
into the heart of a quasar’s;
luminous embrace
