Ink Fades

Ink Fades

I sank my breath into your heart,
writing into your core,
I chiseled my words into your cells,
they spilled out of your pores.

I dug my eyes into your lids,
you close them –
Do you see me?

I drank my lips upon your neck,
the one created…
It could not be?

I sang my thoughts straight into yours,
you heard every word,
I listened to your silence,
echoes of me –
{absurd.}

My ink I placed into your grasp,
left naked and exposed,
and still,
I stand alone,
lonely, while unclothed.

My fingers poured into your flesh,
flecks I gave freely,
quivering to the top of your head –
liquefying,
yet, you are able to resist –
all of my tattooing.

(my ink
must have
been watered down
a farce of permanency
leaving fading trails
{wondering}
mind fabrications
placed in the palm of the moon.)

    You are simply amazing! Would love to write one with you sometime. Check out my Poetic Duets if you are interested and email me. I could learn a lot from you!

    • Thank you so much hastywords! I would love to do a poetical duet, but I am not sure if I can. I tend to get a rush of words and they come out. However, it would be a great and interesting challenge. I will contact you in a couple of weeks. I have so much going on it should settle by then. I am not sure how my creative juices will flow! 🙂
