Conjuring Life

Conjuring Life

dig deep into these thirsty roots,
penetrate a slumbering vessel,
surge through decaying veins,
awaken a hardened core,
rip out my entrails,
explode abstruse passions –
ignite my colorless pores,
let this shell breathe,
a gust of wind into a casing,
lost a visions way,
paths and memories,
lingering in dust,
a hollow; broken frame,
cemented crux –
convulsing, life-longing figure
wanting sight,
seeking taste,
desperate for touch,
and to shamelessly grab,
impossible visions –
hiding beneath this cavernous stem
bring forth existence,
fluidity flood this hanging skeleton
