Waiting On Entity
If only I could hear back…
silence tickles my flesh,
relief found in the call,
double numbers –
throughout the day
Digits pulling,
on my eyes to see,
blinking binary code –
your face burned into my gaze,
forever a ghost
Whispers, low hum –
lovesick shakes,
world imaginations,
considered delusions?
Clock brushes into my thoughts,
and I know you are there –
across the room,
in another place and year
“Can you hear me?”
Your eyes penetrating,
raging dopamine,
your voice in my head,
mouth slightly winking
Yes, I heard you –
just as I hear you now,
clearly and distinctly –
dimensional planes,
we all pretend are not there
As an angel,
tapping me with its wing,
its breath wind into my soul,
you fade inside my psyche,
forever drenching meditations
I am vapor consuming,
you are ether absorbing,
we are brightly lit flakes –
clusters tightly formed
Sinking into the dark –
alone watching our shadows,
dance together
under the canopy of the moon,
blanketed by stars –
adorning approving kisses
Entity at last –
though flesh does not touch,
our silhouettes were never told –
they cling tightly day and night,
glaring; illuminating –
everywhere they glide
Very nice piece.
Thank you Benjamin M Prewitt! (I looked up your name because I felt funny calling you prewitt1970. ) 🙂
Another excellent composition that flows so nicely!
Nick the Travel Editor thank you ever so! A lovely site you have as well, I went on some wonderful reading and image adventures there today.
