Quest

Quest

started off a gentle curl,
my thumb slowly moved –
midnight sky turned its page,
words from stars bounced –
toted letters with numeral splatters,
intensity raged within,
searching for the epic end

flipping fast,
chapter by chapter
I spun my way,
diabolical reads,
reverenced treasures;
year after year
consumed each sparkle –
soaking up linguistics

morphology of sweet,
sweet phonetics –
chiming through each page,
lyrical mythologies
dancing along edges

rivers singing,
moonlight babbling,
night owls telling old tales,
trees shaking leaves,
slithering beings,
rocks croaking; echoing –
some black hole

page turner; me
wrapped in semantics,
ferocious for the plot,
as it thickened
pragmatics made me mad –

insanity!

seeking and searching,
yearning for the quest,
ripping page numbers out,
here?
no there?
there?
no here!
a white blank page,
upon the moon’s face
the end had not been written

furious pain,
ripped and wailed
longing,
confetti –
a debris of past

staring constellations
mystical glue,
pouring
fluttered in
lovely Moon Moths
turning back each folio

searing the ripped and torn
folds and creases,
still exposed
seals revealing such fury
back to page one
the sky rang out
your quest has now begun

I had read this and your next one in my email…I love them both. Amazing Angel. This yes, made me want to spirit away to my story writing…which I’m hoping to find time for tonight…an inspiration. Thank you for that. Hope you are well. xo

    Lady Day,
Yay! Happy news to read! Thank you! I hope you are able to get some writing time in. I am good, have had a lot of strange thoughts and moods lately. They are pouring out into words – I think that is good?? Hee hee Well at least my mood is getting better! 🙂
