Song Of Silence

Song Of Silence

Right there –
in the prick of my heart,
at the peak of its core,
through mass of blood flow.

It’s whirling modulation,
meter by meter,
siphoning in and out of me –
I can feel it,
but there is no sound.

Quaking and quivering,
rhythmus symphony,
caressing beauty –
silent hum.

Am I alone?
Seduced in melodious absence –
clamoring tunefulness,
chiming this soul.

Tender lovely song,
tormenting sweetness,
draining my veins.

Maddening tune –
muted and muffled,
blaring such pleasantries,
overflowing with life.

If only I could pull you,
fingernails catching –
one single note.

How I love to hear you,
Oh! God to touch you!
Feel your orchestra –
ring out of my throat.

Playing my heartstrings,
strumming some harmony,
dear provoking Taciturnity –
playing an opus,
unveiling no song.
