In Theory
I came upon a stand of silence
keeping my voice unheard
hooks to the left of me
anchors on my right –
follow me to the trail of answers;
called the black swan –
tricking me with inciting tales
dangling hindsight in its wings
what of a theory we all know,
but ignore –
have we lost our logic;
abilities to ramble in reason?
or shall we convince ourselves otherwise,
leaving it in the beholder’s hands –
all of us with our own observations
black swan (event) claps its beak;
quietly
off to flutter its wings,
back to the pond.
Hello my beautiful butterfly friend, tis is a thinking poem isn’t it?
These lines really got me thinking…..
“have we lost our logic;
abilities to ramble in reason?
or shall we convince ourselves otherwise,
leaving it in the beholder’s hands –
all of us with our own observations”
I will ponder on this more, it has triggered something in a quizzing kind of way.
Love you so very much my lovely friend. Leesy. xxx 🙂 xxx
