Comfort In Golden Life
Past time riddles, unfolding walls,
truths disguised in waking falls.
Unearthed desires, are they there?
Encapsulated quandaries, it’s so unfair.
Lingering roughage sleek on the floor,
How can the heart still adore?
Wafting breath through the night,
no end to suffering now in sight.
Swallow acceptance as it may,
eyes covered in a bemused way.
Smell of truth.
Seek me not, wasted my youth.
When will it end?
You told me I know.
Stop it Sun!
Just let me go.
The golden echoes I try not to see,
will not seem to let go of me.
I sink and wallow,
I moan and ache,
but my faintest yearnings,
keep me fixed all for love’s sake.
Round about rays strike my lungs,
new life spinning, we’ve only begun.
