Collapse

Brick by brick
Layers ripping down each side
Exposed the fresh air —
Burns
Melting away
Echoes roll
Collecting my body
Cover me in kisses
Only one set of lips heal
Breath escaped
Exhale exhaustion
Caving inward
Sink
Falling through
Invisible floor
Droplets of a past self
Leave the puddle
Footprints leading the way
Out of the collapse
Gravitational pull
Scoops
Right into your arms
