Keep the balanced walk upon the sticking strings,
lifting and leaping with tips of toes,
try not to disturb.
Do not get stuck in the web of falls,
or the dew that grabs the ankles.
Swing and sway in morning light,
but never break the web.
Be so gentle and delicate,
to expose or wake up is to fright.
Get to the middle and trampoline,
keep poise and pretend it’s not in sight.
Dangling legs in off-balance,
Stiff and strong,
gluing to each strand.
They cannot let go,
each holding on with canvas of threads,
waltzing the labyrinth,
sneak out of form.
Dance on the webs,
dance around the webs,
ignore the stick,
see not the invader,
while the twirl, and tango you tread.
