The Earth solid hovering,
in depths of blackness.
Cold dark, and twinkling lights,
sparkles of existence that centuries,
past could not explain.
The glimmer of light spun from the very core,
the powerful sphere spinning, pulling.
Silent night, bright day to the other side.
Unsuspecting as the glow covered,
the mighty globe.
Hearts calling to each other,
souls comforted in connections.
Threads spreading out like lightning,
one spoke, one acted, one gave, one reached out,
mighty trickles of kindness and recognition.
Food for the hungry,
laughter for the sad,
water for the parched,
warmth for the lonely.
Spreading forces of light,
consumed the huge ball,
passing links through each act.
The linking began with you,
spread forth to the one you passed,
unfolding into each life after.
The face of God looking at you,
and through you,
the goodness poured to the next.
Giving flow to the linking,
bursting to the ever curving spheroid.
Ever-present mirrored challenge.
Can we keep the link growing?
