Willow Tree

Willow Tree

Cover me, draping my cast,
listening to laughter and tears.
All of the stories no one,
wanted to hear.

Your bark consumed them all,
weeping brushes dancing with me,
we giggled and cried together.

Leaning on your sturdy strength,
reading each groove from your trunk,
finger caressing your beauty.

Creatures busily huddling along,
as my words would flow.
Our stories intertwined,
this huge world, so small.

Encountered into the misty mind,
encamped our enchanted world,
wind blowing your long sweeping branches,
I heard you sing.

Green tassels,
flick my twinkle,
upon my face.
Sweet tender tree.

My willow you weep,
and drape me soothing sounds,
soft touches, listening ears.
We swim in the rain.

Cooling me in the shade,
your protection,
no one can see.
I share with you and you with me.

Weeping my willow tree,
as a happy lark,
you are adorned in fantastic,
your mystical and calling.
