I heard a soft, gentle sound,
it beckoned to me.
The sweet, peaceful ting,
was reaching for my heart.
Walking, searching for the ring,
that tapped into my soul.
I caught a glimpse of fluttering,
a smile became my fold.
Squinting to see,
I saw where the sound play,
my friend butterfly,
clinked a tune today.
Stepping up, left the ground,
I joined the flutter notes,
we tapped and pinged,
waved to sway.
Me and butterfly did join.
The laugh of tickles,
the surprise of jump,
jollity of play.
Up and down,
round and bound,
we wandered completely away.
