Dipping my toe in the cool meadow spring,
Laughing and playing with things unseen.
Watching the twinkle of daylight breakthrough,
Listening to whispers that I never knew.
Jumping over giant puddles of mud,
Slipping and falling face to face with a frog.
Thunderous giggles abounding behind,
Little ones enjoying, not being unkind.
Trees sway covering me,
My own private world is so free.
Looking around in my state of awe.
Awakened to hear little ones call.
Walking, smiling covered in dirt.
I go barefoot, tuck in the hem of my skirt.
Hair is a mess and face unclean,
I hope to never come out of this great dream.
I LOVE THIS!!!!
I think I’ve been there too, it’s a lovely place.
Love you my lovely friend.
