Lost Muse

Lost Muse

Please return, my lovely
You’ve gone?
I’m left with nothing

Beauty, no longer spewing
Fountains all empty
Radiance turned dull

Words have no meaning
Laughter grown cold
I call to you, my deary

Come back!
Come back!
I’m lost.

Trickling phrases,
fail me
Need my muse’s song

Send me some of your whispers
Trail me into delights
Give me inspiration

I call!
I wail!
I pray!
Lovely, come back to me…

Losing eloquent speech
Foreboding farce guide
Hear my mercy call you

Grace me with your vibrancy
Light up my paths
Seek me out once again
Let’s create together

Have I lost you forever, my lovely?
Am I to write of my pain?
Can I not have glee?

I have lost you, my ingenuity
You are long gone
Clever me wandering, in the dark.

    Hello my lovely friend,
I read this the other day on my mobile and I nearly cried.
It’s so sad when you feel like this.
    I love you.
