My raven looked me straight in the eyes,
looking intently to help as my guide,
I questioned and asked all that I could,
no words would he speak, I wish he would.
My raven left a while, but then did return,
he sat on my window waiting for me to learn.
In confusion I listened and watched,
waiting for answers, desperately I sought.
My raven said nothing, silent was he,
told me no answers just let me be.
Through all the silence and desperate affairs,
I seemed to cling to a new self aware.
He was determined to let me see,
all of the answers hiding in me.
No hand holding, no easy tasks,
facing my mystery alone, lost masks.
My raven was smarter than I ever knew,
he knew exactly what to do,
a tiny hint, a little dream
through it all manifesting more of me.
Raven, you sit there without a word,
staring and annoying me causing such burn,
yet, with your silence you make me come clean,
dealing with hidden issues to fulfill my dreams.
