Common Ground

close my eyes
drift away
twitching guitar
chanting hands

drum beats
surge inner being
voice reaching into my ears
fusing sounds to one

crowd shouts
smile
oneness in spirit
pleasing notes
rippled sky

closed eyes
bobbing head
body flow
penetrating roar

drums
voice
peal of thunderous claps
guitars rage

rip
immersed
cultivate
thumping feet
eruption in glorious dance
hands lifting toward the sun
