Love Your “Enemy”
It’s quite simple,
to demonize another.
Sometimes it’s too hard to extend your hand,
and say “Brother”.
In times gone by and foreseen,
loving your enemy is a strange dream.
The Western mind can’t seem to find,
this healthy balance and be more kind.
Pointing fingers,
to the left, to the right.
Objectifying people,
by strong arming with might.
Loving kindness I heard, God say.
Even His people don’t know how to play.
Forgetting to give, to love, to embrace,
so what, you consider their life a disgrace.
Isn’t God’s love enough,
to lead another to Believe?
If they were to believe, I ask,
Is it really all your task?
What kind of love have you shown?
Did you tell them turn or be alone?
Must we all look the same?
The left, the right, what about in between?
Kill the mob spirit, is what I say!
Stop demanding conformity based on your way.
Calling people henchmen, demonic beings?
They are your fellow man.
Can you love your enemy?
