Jilt
I’ve got tears shackled to my cheeks,
streams gleam in spectral sun rays,
they warm these icicles upon my flesh -
smeared from past to present.
helpless, a stained glass face,
alone; quaking in the heat of the sun -
it burns and cracks, a mask;
friendless wanderer,
endless lover.
stratagems of relationships,
they broke down each thread -
skeleton of hope,
how long must I be used;
for amusement?
kaleidoscope tears waft,
trickle upon my lips;
I am a brightly lit statue,
a prism of want -
abandoned in the rain;
with a broken umbrella.

That was truly beautiful, again I feel your words so deeply and journey with them each step as if was my own. Thank you.
